Daily Daffodil

The daffodil is our doorside queen;
She pushes upward the sword already,
To spot with sunshine the early green.

Isn't the first daffodil a delight?
Despite all the dire forecasts we've had a warm winter thus far, and that bodes well for some early daffodil sightings!
