Maggie,
ReplyDeleteAnother absolutely beautiful post. I have not been to Normandy but went to Provence about 11 years ago. When I get back to Florida I am going to scan some of those photos and see if I can do a "French" collage!

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. Have a great Outdoor Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteI have never been to your lovely country. That is why I enjoy your post so much as you share a part of the world I will never see. Great pictures and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMmmm - you've captured the essence of an early fall day, with the sun, the feeling that a lunch time could really go on for hours - I could even imagine the sound of the carousel.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be responsible for a sudden surge in visitors to Normandy!
Such a happy and a great place. Thanks for sharing.

I love lunches like that. I am having a nice long lunch with a friend today.
ReplyDeleteWe can get only one Pouilly Fume here in B.C. and it is a LAPORTE LES DUCHESSES 2007 for $30.00 Canadian. That is about 19 euros.
What a lovely post. I always love your photos but the ones you've shared today are outstanding. I though I was having lunch with you.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful day.
Maggie, yes another beautiful post! You share a little bit of France with each new post, and I feel so fortunate. At least I can be there via your lovely photos. Love the carousel and the carriage. Only in France! ~ Still getting rain here....Sarah
ReplyDeleteMore beautiful pictures. I googled the map of Ouistreham to see where it was located. That was not too terribly far from where we stayed last fall (we took the train from Paris to Caen and stayed out in the country near Dozule). Beautiful, beautiful countryside..I would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for the gorgeous reminder!
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie, Your are infecting me with a traveling bug :0)
ReplyDeleteThese shots are great.
Happy Autumn to you!
Hello Maggie,
ReplyDeleteWhat fantastic photos! I love carousels and that one is gorgeous. On my trip to Washington recently I had the pleasure of seeing one that was built in 1909. I loved the history of it. Looks like you had a wonderful day...thank you for sharing it with us!

Maggie...as a child growing up in England, did you ever think that one day you would be living in France and enjoying a life that most of us can only dream of? You are truly blessed! 3 hrs for lunch???? WOW..
ReplyDeleteI love your pics. If I can't be there at least I can enjoy some of it thru your life and your eyes.
Thanks for sharing! I love it.
That carousel is breath taking. I love those things.

Beautiful carousel. I would love to live in France. But then I would have to learn to speak French.
ReplyDeleteMaggie,
ReplyDeleteI love your photos...simply stunning to say the least !
You left a message for me regarding my brisket...I'm sure it can be done in a slow cooker.
Let me do a bit of research and I'll type back.
Thanks for visiting !
What a carriage. Wow. It is gorgeous there.

Oh, what a lovely day! I would love to be able to have such views here. Today we are having another rainy day so it is back to working on my spare room. I'd rather be outside, but then looking at gorgeous blogs is also fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely tour. I have checked some of your other posts. Your blog is beautiful and I have added you as a favorite.
