A simple wreath adorned with faux flowers and a pretty ribbon.
The way the foliage shadows stand out against the grey/black door fascinated me.
The house next door was unadorned but still very interesting to me with dappled shadows on the old bricks of the pavement and walls.
This home is very close to Mrs Wilkes Dining Room where I shall be joining 87 other members of the Quimper Club International for dinner on Monday evening 25th October.
Ahhhh....Savannah, Georgia. I absolutely Love it there. I think you could find something to snap a photo of almost everywhere you turn.

I adore Savannah and was so lucky to take a trip there a few years ago. You've come a long way to visit and your pictures are proof why. Gorgeous architecture and homes everywhere.

ReplyDeleteI hope to visit Savannah in the winter at one end or another of a cruise through the Panama canal. We haven't been there for over 30 years and it's not that far from Fort Lauderdale Florida, so we'll tack on an extra week and see something of that area. Can't wait!
Maggie, it won't be long now and we'll be sitting across the table from each other with a cup of tea. You know you have me studying shadows now. I need to remember to take my camera along on our morning walks. Saw some great shadows this morning. ;-)
