Maggie, I've had to come back! I put my glasses on to see your pretties close up and gosh what do I see but Court China by Wm. Lowe, made from 1874-1931. I too have a whole set of this delicate, pretty china and I posted on it a couple of years back on my previous blog Across The Pond (I'll have to look back to find it). I remember one cup and saucer I shared in a 'giveaway'. Several pieces, including a teapot, were given to me by my mother - probably my grandmother's at one time. Then, one day while poking about at SuzAnna's Antiques here in town, I found a huge amount of it for just $30.00. Of course I grabbed the lot!

ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your tablescape. I adore the mixture of the silver with the red transferware. You have some beautiful patterns. I'm a big fan of transferware, so I'm always looking at the scenes.
