Whilst waiting for the coffee to drip this morning I was gazing out of the kitchen window and suddenly became aware of how much newness had appeared, seemingly overnight.
I grabbed my lumix and headed out the door to capture the blossoming fruit trees
and a beautiful blue hyacinth for the soul.

ReplyDeleteSpring is in the air. It doesn't help allergies, but I love the smell of all of the flowers. I think I am going to have a container of flowers that will set on my steps small enough that I can take care of it. I just have to decide what I want to put into it. ReplyDeleteHi dear Maggie - how right you are about the lightning effect in the garden lately - a few days of warmth and sunshine, a sprinkling of rain, and everything lightens and brightens with blossom and color. The pollen? I won't even go there!!
ReplyDeleteI love blue hyacinths, my favorite by far, and those blue primulas are fabulous, must find some for next year. They make me think of blue and white transferware, a favorite ironstone of course.

Things do change so quickly in the spring! We have had a cold March and then lots of rain and dreary days yet suddenly the greening is appearing everywhere!

Things do seem to change over night, don't they?! Suddenly, Spring arrives and Mother Nature agrees with Robin Williams ... party time it is! Pretty primula.
