A Redbird Christmas by Fannie Flagg

I'm joining Mary the T @ her Work of the Poet blog for my first Ruby Tuesday party because I want to tell you all about a great book, which I have read many times, and is perfect for getting you in the mood for Christmas.
Head on over to Mary's for more red gorgeousness.

By my favourite author, Fanny Flagg, this real feel good book is "A Redbird Christmas"

Buy it for a dear friend, mother, aunt, sister and an extra copy for yourself, you'll love it!

  1. The cover book is similar to one post in this Ruby theme, I can't remember now whose it was. It is just coincident I think.

I might need to find the book to read :)

  4. I'm ready to read a light novel, but will have to wait just a bit longer. I added your recommendation to my every-growing long list.

I finally put up a post featuring the pay it forward packet. The bear will definitely be showing up in my Christmas decor. And you'll notice that only 3 candies appear in the photo - because I popped one of them into my mouth upon opening the package!

Thank you so much. Enjoy your reading!

  9. Maggie - we like the same books. I love Fannie Flagg. I really like most of the southern writers. Dorothea Benton Frank and Anne Rivers Siddons are favorites. I read Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society a while back. Have you read The Help.

    Anyways, Happy Thanksgiving.

  14. Sounds like a good read-thanks for letting us know about it.

Thanks for visiting too. I would love to go to Germany very soon. My 12 YO daughter is studying German at school and it is her best subject... Maybe in a couple of years she will be more fluent and she can be our translator!
    Best wishes, Natasha.
