Mosaic Monday.

For Mosaic Monday graciously hosted each week by Mary @ the little red house some shots taken during the weekend.

Brown speckled house sparrow eggshell.
Wild orchids in the lane.
Chaenomeles; aka flowering quince or japonica, outside the front door.
A gorgeous plant that I do not know the name of. (can anyone out there enlighten me? Jackie in Surrey perhaps?)
Japanese dicentra; aka bleeding heart, by the wall.
This week Mary has created a beautiful mosaic of horses from her local riding school, just stunning! You must go over and take a look.
Have a great week, everyone.

  1. What a beautiful mosaic. LOve all the greens

  2. Hi Maggie! Oh, what a gorgeous mosaic! Your photos are stunning and I'm so glad you popped in to see me.
    be a sweetie,
    shelia ;)

  3. Maggie, what beauty surrounds you!
What a nice way to begin the week, seeing such lovliness. Have a good one!

  4. Hi, very beautiful mosaic! I hope that you have a wonderful new week!

  5. Maggie,
What a beautiful mosaic. I love the whole composition. I didn't get organized enough for today because we had company all weekend. But I have started some for next week.

  6. I love the eggs! I don't think I've ever seen any quite like that. Could your plant be a form of Pieris? See here for photos

  7. Your closeup photos really give a lovely feel to your mosaic. Normandy must be a gorgeous place to live. I'm new to blogging but am amazed by the lovely world it's opened up to me. When I figure out how I'll "follow" your blog.

  8. These are beautiful photos in this lovely mosaic...Happy MM!!!

  9. Lovely mosaic, all those pretty country things.

  10. Beautiful flowers! My boys are always bringing me broken open bird eggs -- they love this time of year because of all the treasures they find.

  11. Simply lovely! I think Mosaic Monday is about the most restful way to spend a few hours. Loved those brown-speckled eggs in the corners!

  12. Hi Maggie,
So beautiful mosaic! Eggs and flowers, pinks and greens... Stunning!

Thank you for stopping by my little place and your nice comment!

  13. I so love the flowering quince ... that's not a tree that grows around here. Your mosaic is just lovely!

Thanks so much for visiting my Mosaic Monday post 'In The Kitchen' ... yes it was strawberry jam and thickened cream (we don't have clotted cream!) and it was delicious!

  14. Maggie, I'm obviously late arriving this week. Not much time in Blogville when I'm in the garden. :-)
Your mosaic is oh so pretty from the little brown speckled eggs to the bleeding hearts. I wish I could grow bleeding hearts here, but I think it is too hot.

Thanks for stopping by, your visit just made my day!
