A Breath of Spring.

For a few hours today we had blue skies and sunshine, a breath of spring gently wafting over the garden.
I mooched around tidying here and there, stopping to take photographs of emerging primroses,crocuses and daffodils and getting dirt under my fingernails.


Bliss!

    I've brought home lots of primulas, but those in the garden aren't yet showing any colour. We had a tiny bit of sunshine yesterday, but the rain has persisted. I keep on thinking of how grateful we'll be, in July, to have had all this rain!

    Maggie,

    I don't think there is anything sweeter than a primrose. They used to bloom under my lilac trees. Glad you are mooching about outside.

    I'm so happy that you have some blooms already, how pretty. It won't be until April before we warm up and the daffodils and tulips come up. A very long winter indeed!

    Maggie, I am so happy to hear that the weather is getting better over there. My sister-in-law who lives in Paris with her family is getting very sick of winter!

    Maggie, thanks for sharing your emerging spring color. Everything here looks dead. My primroses and cyclamen are mush after the recent snow. I'm waiting for the daffodils to peek through. ~ Sarah

    What gorgeous photos. Oh, I can't wait till spring starts here. It has been a very cold and wet winter. Snow coming again tonight and I live in the south!
