For Mosaic Monday this week I'm taking you down to the beach once again.
Now that the tourist season in Normandy has drawn to a close
we "locals" can reclaim the quiet solitude of the beach at Saint - Laurent- sur- Mer.
Old friends meet up once again and dash around like puppies.
They hadn't seen each other since February!
Have a great week.
Good morning Maggie! You are so fortunate to be able to walk on such a beautiful beach. I bet you have it warmer too.The autumn has arrived here with force - I'm in shock, so cold & windy. But can't help but get used to it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week.
Your beach views sooth the soul, I am so happy to see them and the dog friends too! Thank you Maggie for Mosaic Monday 11, always appreciated.

ReplyDeleteIt does look like a lovely beach to romp around. :)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have your beach back to yourselves. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos, loved those happy dogs. We were fortunate enough to visit Gouville-sur-mer and also Barfleur a few years ago. A very memorable experience. Such a gorgeous area you live in.
ReplyDeleteLovely beach walks, we got in several beach walks while visiting British Columbia last September. It was be amazing to live by the beach and walk there every day.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured beach sceneries! Have a wonderful week too!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, I envy your morning beach walks. You live in such an amazing spot! Enjoy the week, my friend. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Maggie. It's more like evening where you are. Your beach scenes are just so lovely. Beautiful and crisp. I'd love a walk along the beach. That's a fun shot of the dogs meeting up! Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Maggie! I giggled when I read you got your beach back after the tourists left. That is just the way we felt when we lived on Galveston Island. We started to enjoy the beach around Halloween and continued during the winter while the tourists were gone. Fun Fun Fun! Thanks for the memories and thanks for hosting! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteI love our beach best when the kids return to school and it is mostly empty.
ReplyDeleteA beach in autumn is beautiful. The dogs look so happy to be out in the fresh air together. Have a wonderful week, and thank you for hosting MM.
ReplyDeleteI bet it's lovely when the holiday merrymakers go back to their everyday lives.
ReplyDeleteSo, so lovely images! I hope one day to see such a shore, a coastline and to have a peaceful walk like the one in your post. What nice is to look at the waters and the both puppies while playing so cosy... Thank you for hosting! Have a very good week and sunny of autumn!
ReplyDeleteLove the dogs! Here it's hurricane season on the beaches.
ReplyDeleteLook at those blue skies and happy dogs! So very glad you can enjoy your walks in a bit more peace. It looks like a fabulous day!
ReplyDeleteThe dogs are beautiful! Looks like a fun walk ♥
ReplyDeleteThere is simply nothing quite like a beach walk with a friend - two or four-legged. Your photos made me think of my walks each morning - in the dark now, but Rory and I still recognise our walking friends and acquaintances.
ReplyDeleteWe are land-locked in Colorado. The closest sea beach might be the Pacific on the west coast--half a day by air and 2 by land. so I very much enjoyed a visit to Normandy's beach. It was very refreshing. Thank you.
