Recently I've been getting FB requests to post a heart on my FB page
to support Breast Cancer awareness which I thought was strange
since October is Breast Cancer awareness month.
Still it doesn't hurt to spread the word about being vigilant about checking the ladies
so here's a reminder from me.
Eating cake always puts me in the pink so here are two for us to share.
Something else to put smiles on our faces.
They may be expensive but well worth it for the cheeriness factor.
Joining two lovely hosts this week with my 5 pretty pinks
Amy @ Love Made My Home for Five on Friday
and
Beverly @ How Sweet the Sound
for Pink Saturday.
Lots of lovely pink! That really brightened my day.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, pretty pink to brighten our day. I'm still looking at snow piles...
ReplyDeleteYou found some wonderful pinks. Made me smile!
ReplyDeleteFive super pinks, so bright and cheerful. Have a lovely weekend:)
ReplyDeleteThe prettiest pink reminders ever!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean about being expensive but the cheeriness factor overrules it. All lovely!
ReplyDeleteLovely lot of pink. Thanks for sharing your Five on Friday!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty pinks indeed! lovely flowers!
ReplyDeletePretty pink reminders, Maggie. The plant centers don't have much available here yet, which is frustrating because I want to get some things planted. Our days have been warm of late, so I fear I may miss my window of opportunity.
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Lovely and colourful, thanks 😊
ReplyDeleteLovely pinks, think I'd like a slice of the pink cake. The flowers are pretty, but at those prices I'll have to grow my own.
ReplyDeleteRound about this time every year I find myself leaning into pink. It says spring to me, and I'm ready for it. You've got a great selection of pretty pinks here, Maggie.
ReplyDeleteA lovely five. Now I want cake!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, makes me oh so ready for spring. We're getting the weather but I do keep reminding myself it is February. I like the photo of the apples as well. Hope your weekend is a good one!
ReplyDeleteA lovely pink presentation.
ReplyDeleteI'm cheered up just looking at the pictures of the flowers. thanks!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite colors and your photographs are some of my favorite things.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree about the expense but also that the cheery feel they bring outweighs
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers, Maggie ...pink is spring time!
ReplyDeleteWith many weeks before anything blooms here in the Midwest, I succumb to store bought flowers for ridiculous prices. Still, I smile!!

ReplyDeleteSo nice to see spring flower, we have awhile here till we can plant flowers
ReplyDeleteLaura
Love your spring flower boxes Maggie - they are expensive at NZ$42+ but definitely worth the price to cheer up a cold winters day! I would buy them too!
ReplyDeleteShane
Such a fun, pink post.
ReplyDeletePink, yellow and that wonderful periwinkle blue all say 'spring' to me. I love your pinks Maggie!
ReplyDeleteI sure agree with the flowers bringing cheer! Especially this time of year, they are more than welcome. It will be May before any come up in my garden, but fresh flowers from the store now and then are such a treat.
ReplyDeleteMade my appointment this week!
