Mosaic Monday # 49 - Postcards from Florida

It's been great spending time with my sister, brother in law, their two sons and the eldest ones girlfriend who we met for the first time this week.
Our days have been filled with theme park visits, shopping and dining out, plus time spent relaxing by our pool.


Our favourite park has to be Disney's Animal Kingdom, of course it has roller coasters and rides that get you very wet but what the SP and I enjoyed the most was seeing "wild" animals in natural settings. On the Kilamanjaro Safari we saw lions, giraffes and elephants "oh my"!



On Saturday BIL celebrated his birthday by doing a 5km park run. He enters several UK marathons during the year and needs to keep fit even on his birthday whilst on vacation.

The Senior Partner went along with him as driver and chief supporter, it was good for them to spend time together something that only happens every couple of years usually.
In the evening we all celebrated together with dinner at the Boathouse restaurant in Disney Springs.

    Nice to know you having a good time with your relatives and nice meals. Celebrating one’s own birthday by running a marathon sounds so “cool” (though running must be so hot and sweltering.) Animal Kingdom looks tempting, I’d like to visit someday with my grandchildren.

    The wild animals are amazing! Disney is such a huge park with so much to do and see. I hope you don't get caught in any of the pop up showers we have at this time of year.     Dearest Maggie; Wow, nothing better than having fun together with family member, isn't it♪　Wish we had these parks nearby; so interested in seeing these seeing "wild" animals :-) Never seen with my own eyes.

      Maggie - for several weeks, the MM button is no longer the pretty mosaic that it used to be. It now says something about 3rd party hosting. Do you know how to get it back to the pretty mosaic?

    First, your picture should be 'gif' file so that you can have html of your button. This page I found provides IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE;

    It is a Japanese page; in the first square you can put your image's url. in the second square you can put your blog page url.

    So thankful that II came to older posting as well. I have not been to Disney World for many years and usually always went to Magic Kingdom. There is so many more adventures there to explore and the animal kingdom looks amazing. So glad that you all enjoyed this adventure. Hugs
