One forgets, until one sees something like your photos, that France is one of Europe's larger countries and has a large agricultural base. The obsession, in North America, with all things French, focuses on urban life, or village life. Lovely to have a reminder of the fields and orchards that are such an important part of French life.
Maggie, the countryside is beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous!! And curiously enough, it reminds me very much of right here.
I love what Pondside wrote. Makes my perception of France a bit different and the world a 'bit bigger'. Lovely mosaic, Maggie!
