Sunday walks are more leisurely than our weekday walks, we try and take a different route just to make it more interesting.
Trouble was, today, Maggie insisted on stopping every few metres to photograph what she called magic mushrooms for her contribution to Mary's Mosaic Monday @ the little red house, so Mr B & I took ourselves off and left her to it.
Then she made me pose so that she could photograph me!
I'd had enough and headed back to the car, she's really into this new camera. I blame Mary!
She gathers quite a group together over there every Monday and they're all great. Check it out.
Mr Ben
So nice to meet you Mr. Ben. My Bogart doesn't like slow walks either :o) Tell Miss Maggie her pictures are stunning...we humans love mosaics of nature. :o)
ReplyDeleteWonderful post as usual. Mr. Ben is quite articulate!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Carol
Maggie, love the story and photos of Ben! The mushrooms look delectable too, do you know the good ones to harvest? Those certainly look like ones to use.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday!
Maggie,
ReplyDeleteI love your post and the pictures are fabulous! That's the kind of walk I would enjoy going on.

Mr Ben, Which Camera did Maggie get?
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your photo's Maggie and Mr. Ben is a beautiful dog. You can tell him that. :)))
ReplyDeleteHad to pop in and see your post before I get cracking in the house as we have been out all day. Love the walk, wish I had been with you instead of stuck in traffic. Love the mosaics, bye for now, Jackie.
ReplyDeleteMr. Ben is such a natural for the camera:)
ReplyDeleteJoyce
Maggie, too cute. Loved seeing Mr. Ben. Guess I'm going to be jealous that you have a new camera. Perhaps Santa will bring one to this house.
ReplyDeleteLove it! That large mushroom shot in the first mosaic is the perfect choice. And of course, your companion Maggie is beautiful, what a model! RYC: I did a summer mini scrapbook and decided to do 100 favorites of summer. With a very rainy summer it ended up being quite the challenge lol. Have a great week! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie. About the size of my pictures. My mosaics are the same size as my solo photo's it just looks that they are wider because of the wider pictures that are in it. Some time ago when my youngest son came to Sunday dinner he installed or whatever something in my computer that makes my pictures larger. Don't ask me how or what he did because \i don't know anything about computers, I just play with them. LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
Thank you, Mr. Ben, for your beautiful and eloquent post. I'm sure you must make allowances for Maggie -- new cameras can become quite an obsession to some, or so I understand... ;)
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Maggie! Thanks so much for sharing at MM. :)
Maggie -- to make your square mosaics large, click on "Edit HTML" and change the width and height to 800 pixels. Also, change the bit of code that says s400 to s800. Then click "Save." That should do it.
ReplyDeleteFor rectangular images, the numbers are 800 and 532, and s800.
Let me know if you have any questions. :)
Hi Maggie. I think your photographs are a good size and we can click on them and they are a full size. I find that some blogs that have very large photographs, a lot of them and lots of post on the one page take a long time to download.I am always in a hurry to see what people have posted!! Today the weather has been a bit better, thankfully, as my daughter was moving house.A good wind to dry the washing on the line!
ReplyDeleteJackie.
Love mushrooms but of course am wary of wild ones. Did pick them as a child in a field near our home..........and have lived to tell the tale, ha, ha! Tonight I'm making wild mushroom risotto but of course they came from the shelf at Trader Joe's so should be safe.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a huge surprise? Won't say more as you plan to post on it!
Enjoy the day -lovely here, your Mr. Ben would enjoy a walk in the sunshine and fallen leaves I bet. He's gorgeous.
Hope you have fun with the camera. I just bought a new small one too - Canon A1100 as my previous one is getting old and I needed the image stabilility feature! I've been practicing with it this weekend.
I love all three mosaics from your morning walk ... and my lab Molly would LOVE to play with your Mr Ben!
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Small Reflections
What great mosaics. Love them all. Looks like a sweet dog :0)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week...
The mushroom mosaics are beautiful and Mr. Ben is photogenic even while walking away. Looks like you're really enjoying your new camera.
ReplyDeleteI am a dog lover so Mr Ben is a cutie. Certainly deserves his own mosaic. Love the mushroom mosaics too. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteIt's generous of you to put up with your hoomins the way you do, and your mosaic is very handsome.
ReplyDeleteWonderful mosaics! Give Mr. Ben a hug for me!
ReplyDeleteGreat Mosaics!! Cute doggy!
ReplyDeleteMr. Ben is a lovely doggie. and the mushrooms (fungi?) look so delicious. Wonder if they're of an edible variety? Give Mr. Ben a hug for me, will you?
