Carrying on the Santa theme with some handcrafted wooden Santas from my collection, I'm participating in Mary's Ruby Tuesday party at The Work Of The Poet.
Mary has a great post today you just have to go over there and see what she & her husband have done to their front door!

ReplyDeleteI used to do this kind of thing a few years back. Your post reminds me of good times with a crafting friend. :)

My Ruby Tuesday
I love the wood Santa's. I have a few of these in my collection too! I have some hand carved and painted Santa's that I purchased about 20 years ago. These are always the first ones to get displayed every year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some of your collection.
Jane

Very nice Maggie, you have quite a Santa collection!
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie
ReplyDeleteAlong my travels I came across your name in the comments section of Garden of Daisies blog. When I saw your name I just knew I had to find out who Maggie B was because I am also Maggie B. Your blog is delightful and I'm glad I came for a visit. Love all your Christmas decorations.
Cheers
Maggie
They are all cute! Do you know what is my favourite? It is the card of course.
ReplyDeleteHappy RT!

All Little Things I Like
Isn't a Santa collection a jolly thing? Your Santas are all friendly looking - the first thing I notice. I like old fashioned Santas, so loved the one dressed in yellow - each year I try to cross stitch an old time Santa - they are all so interesting and different from the 20th century Coca Cola Santa.
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie, your Santas are just lovely!!
ReplyDeleteBarb ♥
Wow,Maggie,I love all your Christmas treasures and your header is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMaggie~~~
ReplyDeleteVery cute Santa's and I adore the illustration of Santa wearing yellow. Maybe his pajamas??

ReplyDeleteWooden objects always have a lot of character and your Santas are no exception.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour Santa collection is wonderful and your blog is looking very cheerful decked out in its holiday finery. I see you live in a beautiful place in France and like It's A Wonderful Life---two of my favourites.

Love the wooden Santas. They have that old-fashioned air about that--makes me feel nostalgic!
ReplyDeleteMaggie, each one of these Santa figures are adorable. It's it fun to pull them all out each year. It's like a visit from old friends. The mantel looks fabulous. Just got my mantel completed. I used fresh magnolia leaves and my assortment of wooden pears. I'll post photos this weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs, sweet friend.....Sarah
Bonjour Maggie...
ReplyDeleteTrying to catch up on some of my blog reading. I love your new blog pic, your mantle is very pretty! It has that 3-D effect with the reflection in the mirror--very creative photograhy!
I am going to try your Hungarian Goulash recipe. It sounds delish!!
Have a great Christmas Holiday
Love all the wooden Santa's....saw your post also on the Munich market....I have been to Munich many times but never lucky enough to be there for the Christmas markets...it must be wonderful...I collect German nutcrackers and would love to go back someday at the holidays....nothing is nicer then European Christmas decorations....
ReplyDeleteOh, how gorgeous! When we moved to Belgium we didn't bring our tree trimming stuff with us (we thought we'd be here for 2 years...), and we still don't have a tree. But we have a LOT of Santas! I love to get them at the Christmas markets in Germany. Yours are wonderful, and I bet they make your house feel like Christmas!
