It's still snowing.......................

The 12th c Church of St Marcouf
It's snowing again this afternoon but earlier today we took a walk around the village with Mr Ben.
Hunters stay out!
There wasn't a soul about but we saw plenty of animal tracks in the snow and our neighbour had obviously made it out of the village.
Mr Ben  enjoyed following the trails.
The main road was clear and good to go.
It was good to breathe the cold fresh air and stretch our legs before heading back home
to curl up by the fire with my favourite read at this time of year.

  1. Your weather is making our news here. Amazing snowfalls for this time of year.
Your photos are gorgeous - glad you were able to get out for a walk.

  2. Your pictures are beautiful! Thank You so much for sharing them with us! Have a blessed day!

  3. Love your photos !!!

We had five inches last week but it has all melted.

  4. Goodness me - your Mr Ben and our Raja are photo negatives of each other! What lovely dogs they both are. Raja and Son 1 and I are mainly doing walks in the dark at the moment, Master being at school all day. We are enjoying looking at the silhouettes of the bare branches against a blue-black sky. But Son 1 is desperately hoping for some of your snow tomorrow! Thanks for your lovely pictures.

  5. I love your new look, Maggie!
And the photos are such a delight...especially to a Floridian!

  6. What a beautiful and peaceful day, Maggie. You live in a lovely part of the world and I so appreciate my visits to your blog and the way that you share your comings and goings. I remember that book from last year, and how much I enjoyed it too!

  7. Maggie, this looks so peaceful, and the photo of the church is post card perfect. Happy you all got out for a little walk and fresh air. I need to pick up a copy of that book. I've not read it. Will you share a post about it for FFT this month? Please!
Stay warm and cozy. Hugs ~ Sarah

  8. Maggie,
It is beautiful where you live. We've had a dusting of the same snow all week. The walks are so nice and fresh in the snow. Cute Mr. Ben! Thinking of you. xxoo Jenny

Thanks for stopping by, your visit just made my day!
