I really enjoy
I only started baking my own bread last year after being inspired by TV cook Lorraine Pascale.
The blog post that I wrote back in February 2011 has been the most visited of all my posts, receiving over 2000 hits since it was published!
Click here to read how she inspired me to get started
and perhaps you'll be baking bread today, too?

Maggie,
ReplyDeleteI will start my Thanksgiving baking today. We shall have dinner with friends on Thursday but Jack and I will cook a Thanksgiving dinner on Monday for the leftovers!
I shall go read you blog post now. Have a wonderful weekend.

I have a craving for bread. In fact, I seldom buy it anymore. However, warm, homemade rolls or bread, never would turn down.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct.......oh, the wonderful smell of bread being baked. Looks like a lovely lunch, Maggie. Enjoy..........Sarah
ReplyDeleteI love baking bread but it has been awhile. It does smell SO good!

Have a lovely Saturday. Come and see me when you get a chance.
Oh Maggie I can smell that fresh bread here. I stopped baking my own bread and I gave the baking machine to our son. It was too good and I ate too much of it, LOL. But after two years I am going to ask if he ever uses it. LOL,
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.
OH Maggie, this bread looks delicious! Thank you for stopping by to say hi at my blog! Have a great Thanksgiving week ahead!
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie....you are soooo right...there is nothing like homemade bread. How yummy yours looks in your homey kitchen...I bet it was perfect with the soup! Funny that you had that for your supper last night...I did too...and with homemade cornbread which is also gluten free.
ReplyDeleteI make all the breads that I eat as I'm gluten intolerant. It has been an adventure and now that I've been at it for several years, I wouldn't have it any other way. Like you, I published a Tutorial post on baking GF Bread, and it is one of the most visited posts on CollectInTexas Gal.
Happy Baking and thanks for visiting for Pink Saturday.
This looks just delicious! I want to dive into the screen and grab a slice! Yum! (And I bet the kitchen smelled wonderful!)
ReplyDeleteWell I never knew there was such a day! My husband bakes our bread once a week.
ReplyDeleteI haven't made bread since forever - time to give it a shot again, as nothing is nicer than fresh bread and homemade soup.
