Grow Your Blog Party

My very dear friend Vicki is hosting a Grow Your Blog Party this weekend.
If you are a first time visitor to Normandy Life and have come via the GYB party then, welcome!
My name is Maggie a 60 something child of the 60's!
I love -
My husband of over 30 years, who I affectionately call the Senior Partner.
Our dog, Fleur, a 2 year German Shepherd. We are still grieving the loss of Mr Ben who passed away recently.
Living in the beautiful Normandy countryside.
Gardening, growing organic fruit & vegetables in my potager.
Baking, pies & cakes.
Scrapbooking ( I have a separate blog "just scrapping" where I indulge my addiction for all paper products)
Photography, goes great with scrapbooking!
Travelling the world with my sweetie, especially when that means time for relaxing, with a little retail therapy on the side and meeting up with friends in Hilton Hilton, SC. whenever I get the chance.

Vicki & me in Hilton Head
October 2012
These are the sort of things that you'll find when you come to visit Normandy Life.
I wrote my first post in April 2008, it was about planting out the potager for spring.
Since then 330 wonderful people have signed up to follow me.
If you're one of them then perhaps you'll already know some of the above.
I'd like to say a great big thank you to you all for your support and friendship.
Some of you I have been lucky enough to meet in person, like Vicki, Jenny, Jackie, Sarah and Martha.
I really hope I get to meet more of you in the future.

You may remember reading on Normandy Life about the stunningly beautiful nests which Vicki creates.
If you missed those posts then click here and here and be amazed by what a talented crafter she is.
Click on this link, or the green button on my sidebar to visit Vicki's beautiful blog 2 Bags Full to discover a world full of travel, knitting and adventure and join the party!

  19. So lovely to 'meet' you. I'm a digital scrapper - I'm in the middle of working on my son's 2012 book now (taking a little blogging break for a few minutes or ten). We went to Normandy in Autumn and I have to say it is one of my favorite places ever - the towns were so quaint, the people were lovely, and the food was delicious. You are one lucky girl to call it home :)

  22. Hey Maggie, I'm so happy to meet you. Thank you for following my blog. I am now a new follower of yours. One of my goals for perhaps this year or next is to learn to speak French. I think it is a beautiful language. I took a couple years in high school, but don't remember very much. So, I'm excited to read your blog. Maybe I will pick up some of your language along the way. Oh, the next time you come to Hilton Head, let me know. I'm only about 3 hours from there. Have a great day!
