As an antidote to all the rain we've been enduring recently
let's enjoy some sunshine!

remember long sunny days at the beach
cool down in hidden shadow
and am enjoying playing with learning

Sun Lit Sunday with Karen @ My Little Home & Garden
Maggie, I think I upgraded but then got side tracked and haven't used it. You inspire me to get busy and play with this a bit more. These photos inspire me to plan a beach trip. '-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks strange to see a camel on the beach...our beaches are frozen right now
ReplyDeleteI never expect to see a camel by the sea. What a fun photo journey of color, sun and shadows.
ReplyDeleteLove these images! A 'sea camel'! Seems unique to me-perhaps not to the one riding the camel, though.
ReplyDeletethanks for the dose of sun!
ReplyDeleteSo mnay sunlit colours in these lovely photos. Adore the regal pose of the camel in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteOh that pool looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking I should upgrade but then forget to do it. Is it lots better? Your photos certainly are gorgeous -- and they couldn't be better timed!
ReplyDeleteThat 4th picture is intriguing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good holiday in the sun with great shadows - which I suppose were a welcome relief from the heat of the sun. Particularly like the palm tree.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful spot for a holiday! Especially with a beach camel. !!! Lovely series. Happy Sun Lit Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLOVE all the sunshine! I feel a tad warmer now. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the vibrant colours from the hot sun. Where are all the people ?
ReplyDeleteBarbara, I took most of the photo's early in the day whilst people were having breakfast!
Deletegorgeous scenery, it looks like a fantastic place to visit
ReplyDeleteI feel a bit warmer now. We do have sunshine today laced with wind. I don't like the wind, so I will stay inside and make valentines. Have a wonderful week, Maggie.
ReplyDeleteseems to be a nice hotel. :) I have been to Egypt but that was long ago.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a nice holiday in the sunshine !!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunny photos that are a great antidote to all the rain around here lately. I love the lounging area - or whatever it's called, with the cushions and rugs on the ground and a low table. Are those areas for eating or just relaxing?
ReplyDeleteLorrie, the cushions are for laying/sitting on whilst smoking a Hubble bubble / hookah pipe, I didn't ever see anyone in there though.
DeleteA trip to Egypt would be quite an adventure. The lounging area looks very inviting and a dip in the pool would cool down a hot day. Not that a hot day is an issue where I live. :)

Hello Maggie
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful to have a bank of photos stored away to bring out when the weather turns inclement!
I love the camel on the beach - and the resort looks very special!
We have our trip to France planned this year.... maybe we can detour to Egypt for a few days at that resort!!
Shane
