Egyptian Sun and Shadows

As an antidote to all the rain we've been enduring recently
let's enjoy some sunshine!

and walk like an Egyptian

remember long sunny days at the beach
cool down in hidden shadow

chillax

stroll past tall palm trees

and finally swim up to the pool bar!

You can probably tell that I recently upgraded to picmonkey's Royale level
and am enjoying playing with learning
all about the features which until now have been out of reach.

  1. Maggie, I think I upgraded but then got side tracked and haven't used it. You inspire me to get busy and play with this a bit more. These photos inspire me to plan a beach trip. '-)

  2. It looks strange to see a camel on the beach...our beaches are frozen right now

  3. I never expect to see a camel by the sea. What a fun photo journey of color, sun and shadows.

  4. Love these images! A 'sea camel'! Seems unique to me-perhaps not to the one riding the camel, though.

  5. So mnay sunlit colours in these lovely photos. Adore the regal pose of the camel in the first photo.

  8. Looks like a good holiday in the sun with great shadows - which I suppose were a welcome relief from the heat of the sun. Particularly like the palm tree.

  13. I feel a bit warmer now. We do have sunshine today laced with wind. I don't like the wind, so I will stay inside and make valentines. Have a wonderful week, Maggie.

  16. Beautiful sunny photos that are a great antidote to all the rain around here lately. I love the lounging area - or whatever it's called, with the cushions and rugs on the ground and a low table. Are those areas for eating or just relaxing?

    1. Lorrie, the cushions are for laying/sitting on whilst smoking a Hubble bubble / hookah pipe, I didn't ever see anyone in there though.

  17. A trip to Egypt would be quite an adventure. The lounging area looks very inviting and a dip in the pool would cool down a hot day. Not that a hot day is an issue where I live. :)

  18. Hello Maggie
Isn't it wonderful to have a bank of photos stored away to bring out when the weather turns inclement!
I love the camel on the beach - and the resort looks very special!
We have our trip to France planned this year.... maybe we can detour to Egypt for a few days at that resort!!
