Mosaic Monday # 105 - a sea change ahead?

Bonjour Mosaic Monday folks.
Well, Plan B sort of worked last week didn’t it?
My scheduled post which I wrote whilst we were away went up on Sunday morning as planned, as did the link for you all to join in with, which was good because our internet service had  still not been restored by the time we got back from Tenerife.
Thank you for all your supportive comments, I can’t deny that it was quite challenging to get all the ducks lined up in a row from afar!
However, you’ve probably realised that I didn’t stop by your blog last week to comment on your mosaics and that was because the problem is ongoing.
We are still without internet service in the house, I’m using my iPhone’s personal hotspot for this post, and unless a techie comes to fix the problem soon I possibly won’t be visiting you this week either.
Mosaic Monday has been a very enjoyable part of my blogging experience for many years but all this palaver has got me thinking about the logistics of continuing to be the host in the future. As you know the SP and I love to travel, we already have something planned in November and there are a couple of other trips pencilled in the Diary for next year.
Although I will always want to participate in MM I’m wondering if there might be one of you, who enjoys our MM Club as much as I do, who would be willing to take the baton from me and become the new host so that we can keep this long standing meme running for many more years to come?

If hosting Mosaic Monday appeals to you just let me know in your comment or you can email me using the link on my sidebar and we can have a chat.

  1. Maggie - sorry you are continuing to have tech issues - very frustrating! When I first looked at your photos, I thought - snow, in France! But I think this is all sea foam??? We have had about a half-inch of snow each of the last two mornings, but the sun is melting it each day!

I would be interested in taking on the baton for MM if no one else comes forward. I feel that someone with a longer history of participating should get first dibs … Enjoy your week ahead!!!

  4. Maggie, I was also away last week, and when I am away I try to stay off devices to make sure I enjoy the moments. I also love MM and have been a part of it since Mary first began it years ago, but I feel the same way as you do that my travel would interfere with keeping it active every week. I appreciate your hosting and I know you will pass it on to a worthy blogger!

  6. I'm sorry for your internet problems. They can be so frustrating. I enjoy MM very much and appreciate your efforts in keeping it going. I see that Angie would be willing to receive the baton, and I'm glad. With my schedule I don't feel able to do it. How exciting that you have more travel plans in the future. I hope we will continue to see you posting.

  9. Hi Maggie, so sorry you are having problems with your internet. I have been contributing to Mosaic Monday for years, and enjoy visiting each week, but unfortunately can't take over the baton for you, so I am very happy to hear that Angie has put up her hand. Thank you so much for carrying on from Mary. Where would we be without MM? Happy travels and I hope your internet is sorted soon!

  12. Thank you so very much for all you’ve done, with and without technical glitches. Gosh I hope somebody can volunteer ...I love this meme. Travel counts me out too (and the fact that I’m technically challenged, though I hate to admit that). I hope some tech genius gets you up and running soon, because it is awful not to have good internet...(how did we manage for all those years....).

  13. Dear Maggie, reading the problems about internet and so on... thinking: I want help, that MM goes on. But... now our family has to take care of the ill father. The cancer is in his body! Thatˋs the situation. I ˋm distressed.

  14. Hello dear Maggie! Gorgeous photos! Oh, how I miss the sea. I got to go whale watching twice this year and being out on the choppy grey water was so restorative, but it made me want more, more, more. Have a great week!
