Last week, 1st August to be precise, I celebrated two years as host of Mosaic Monday and let me say what a great time I've had doing it.
Feeling slightly nostalgic I took a little look back at the previous 94 MM posts (ninety four!) and totally enjoyed revisiting the past 24 months. Time really does fly when you're having fun.
BTW, if I've written 94 MM posts that could mean that you have too!
One thing I quickly realised was that I blog quite a bit about food, travel, family, travel, Normandy and a bit more travel!
I picked a few out at random to share with you today, if you'd like to read the original post just click the highlighted link.
Autumn in the garden
Flowers and cheese
Touring Agreco Farm
Easy Like a Sunday Morning
Church of Saint Nicholas Kato Paphos
It's all about family
so then this happened
Thanks for travelling with me on my Mosaic Monday journey, each week my visits to your blogs take me all over the world seeing places and things I will possibly never experience for myself and all from the comfort of an easy chair.
Maggie, two years! Wow, time does just clip on by. I love this weekely meme of yours. It does take us to lovely sites filled with adventure, good food, and beautiful bits of nature. Thank you, my friend!
ReplyDeleteWow, Maggie, hard to believe it's been two years already. You've done a great job and I enjoy reading the variety of posts that come up each week. Travel, good food, gardening, and such are the stuff of which many posts are made. I went back and re-read your post about marmalade making and how you made the best of it. Good memories.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting! Have a wonderful week.
Two wonderful years of Mosaic Monday - look forward to visiting and joining in every week - 95th week today!

I remember when you announced you would be picking up the reins on MM. Hard to believe it's already been 2 years.
ReplyDeleteMaggie - I can't quite describe how delighted I am right now. I always had the impression you had been hosting MM for a long time, and so for some odd reason I am excited to learn I have been around for at least half of the journey. There are many linky parties out there, but yours is the one I joined first, and the one I still care about the most. Thanks so much for giving us this avenue to wonderful people and their experiences.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this being two years since you took over Mosaic Monday. It's been one delightful pleasure after the other to get to know you and your adventures on here. I am going to say that the green tomatoes hit a spot as soon as I saw them on here. I had some from my daughter yesterday that I crisped up and then had a nice ranch dressing to drizzle over them afterwards...oh yummy. Have a wonderful week and thanks so much Maggie
ReplyDeleteThe green tomatoes made me revisit my childhood days I used to pick green tomatoes and eat them with a little salt
ReplyDeleteHappy Mosaic Monday Maggie
much love...
What a great idea for a post, Maggie. Congratulations on your MM anniversary and here's to many many more!
ReplyDeleteMosaic Monday has meant a lot to me over the years...I look forward to it every week! And I appreciate that you host it and inspire us every week! Thank you Maggie! Happy MM! Hugs!
ReplyDeletePS: Thanks for being such a great host!
ReplyDeleteYee-Haw! Time to celebrate! Well done, Maggie. So much fun to look back. Mosaic Monday is always fun. Happy Hosting and many thanks!
ReplyDeleteTHat's a wonderful selection Maggie, and so colourful! Time does fly when we are enjoying ourselves....so does this mean that the more we enjoy life the faster it goes? Maybe so!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting and sharing for the past two years.
Happy Mosaic Monday!
Ruby
Congratulations on your two years of hosting Mosaic Monday. Where would we be without you! I've enjoyed visiting you and the other participants here. So thank you! and have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteWonderful retrospective, Maggie!Congratulations and thank you for hosting Mosaic Monday for two years! Time flies , but more good memories come to us over the passing years.
ReplyDeleteThank you for two great years! I love this opportunity for the exact reason you mentioned ...I learn about so many wonderful places, ‘meet’ people from places I will never go, and learn a lot about blogging and photography from talented people as well. I enjoyed your look-back!
ReplyDeleteOh my they grow so fast.
ReplyDeleteMaggie, A great recap. I appreciate you hosting us every week. Thank you. Have a great week. Sylvia D.
ReplyDeleteMaggie, I have loved your travel posts, taking us places that while I am quite sure my husband and I could go there--anywhere-- we don't seem to have the travel bug. Greece has always been a place that I want to visit because I Ioved the ancient Greek mythology. So thank you for not only posting about your travels, but for hosting MM. Were it not for MM, I might have given up blogging. I do love the discipline it requires, but I am doing other writing, too, now so I don't take the time every week to blog. Most importantly I love my little community for friends whom I have been reading for almost ten years now. I won't quit blogging because I will miss my friends-- and my armchair adventures.
ReplyDeleteA great Post. I like the captures of nature and the beach.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, we should protect Thema!
Thank you for sharing.
Your tomatoes are doing ever so much better than mine! And it does look like a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!! Thank you!
